About the awards

General awards

You can apply for one of these four funding levels:

  • Up to £1,000 (400 awards)
  • Up to £5,000 (84 awards)
  • Up to £10,000 (48 awards)
  • Up to £25,000 (12 awards)

Insurance broker awards

We have a separate set of awards for projects submitted and supported by an insurance broker. The broker awards are open to any UK based Insurance Broker. You do not need to have an existing account or relationship with Aviva to enter into the broker awards.

The broker awards up for grabs are:

  • Up to £1,000 (30 awards)
  • Up to £5,000 (18 awards)
  • Up to £10,000 (6 awards)
  • Up to £25,000 (2 awards)

Additional Awards

We’ll give £500 to every finalist in the £5,000, £10,000 or £25,000 funding levels that doesn’t win an award.

Crowdfunder UK

We’re also offering all projects the chance to get more money for their project through crowdfunding.

In partnership with Crowdfunder UK, you can set up a crowdfunding page to run in parallel with your Aviva Community Fund campaign.

Customer and employee awards

We’ll give £200 to the first 1000 customer entries and the first 1000 employee entries, if they don’t win any of the funding awards. For more information about this, please read the terms and conditions.

Can I enter the same project as someone else?

No. We only accept one entry for each project. However, organisations can submit more than one project if each of those projects is different.

Can I get an insurance broker to support my idea after I’ve submitted it?

No. To qualify for the broker awards, a broker must submit the project.

Do I have to be an insurance broker that does business with Aviva to submit a project in the broker awards?

No. Any insurance broker can submit a project and qualify for the additional awards.

Can I enter my project twice for the general awards and the broker awards?

No. We only accept one entry for each project.
