our project will record and preserve online for all time the testimonies of former citizens of Eastern Poland now resident in the UK who were deported to Siberian Labour camps between 1939 and 1941.
we are running out of time to collect these valuable testimonies for future generations,as the generation that survived siberia is rapidly dying out.

Our project will identify and interview 10 Siberian survivors well enough and willing to be interviewed.
as pre-war Poland was a multi ethnic state our project will also include where possible Former Polish citizens of other ethnicities ie: Belarusian, Ukrainian, Tatar, Czech, Jewish etc

Moment of Pride

Lots of elderly Poles in the UK assumed they'd never be able to tell their stories and that no one would care what happened to them, we can bring them peace at the end of their lives.
we also bring mental health benefits to their children who now see they're not alone in the issues they inherited
