Health and wellbeing

Funding level: Up to £1,000

Bure Valley Youth Football Club run several teams for girls of many ages to participate in: under 10, under 12, under 16 and now a ladies team (comprising of last years' under 16 team). In total just under 80 players are involved across the club.

They presently play at Rectory Road in Coltishall, and the club is in need of funds to upgrade the village hall clubhouse to allow refreshments to be served to spectators, players & officials during match days. The hall itself has been neglected for over 30 years, so is in need of an upgrade.

In addition the electrical & shower facilities need re-wiring & re-plumbing to make the changing rooms fit for purpose. By selling refreshments on match days, this enables the club to generate funds to invest back into the club.

The club is run by a small group of devoted volunteers, who undertake several roles to provide the girls with the opportunity to train and play football each week.
