St Paul's church in Penketh requires additional funding to fit out its new church building. £ 720,000 has already been raised through its congregation, sale of other buildings and grants. The internal fit out could be completed with funding of up to £125,000.
The church has 109 members on the electoral roll and has a thriving life in the community serving and reaching out to 12,000 people living in Penketh Warrington. The Oaks centre building serves the community with a cafe, shop ,activities, groups and events .The completion of the church building will allow a considerable extension of its valuable outreach and community work . This will include bigger and better facilities and service offered to the community including its alzheimers support group, tea dancing , youth work and disability support groups amongst others. It's aim would be develop outreach services which we previously haven't been able to such as children's holiday clubs and counselling services.
