We are looking for funding towards a new minibus for our residential home that supports adults with learning and physical disabilities. The minibus allows our service users to be included within community events, attend day opportunities, take holidays, visit family and lots more besides!
Unfortunately the current minibus is getting old and in need of a lot of repairs, whilst we maintain the vehicle as best we can it is starting to get very costly for the Trust.
Without suitable transport we are limited on the amount of community events that our service users can attend, we also wouldn't be able to offer these opportunities to as many of our service users as we currently do. During the past 12 months our service users have enjoyed trips to holiday cottages, centre parcs, Butlins, the seaside and many local activities and events.

Moment of Pride

Adults with learning disabilities are often excluded from activities. Here at Rutland House Community Trust we provide our service users with the care and support they need to be able to participate withing the community in a positive way, by enjoying educational and leisure activities.
